Realistic Not every first chat runs exactly like this. Sometimes we stay 5 minutes on your code, sometimes we talk 10 minutes about your situation. That is fine. The point is to find out whether we fit.

There is none.

You talk to us, you see whether it fits, and then you decide. If not, also fine. You take no risk.

    We do not ask for a credit card or IBAN. Payment only enters the picture once you actually book a session.

  • No sales call

    We honestly check whether we can help. If we cannot, we say so. That is part of the conversation.

  • No subscription, no forced newsletter

    One confirmation email with your slot and the classroom link. That is it.

  • No recording

    Default: off. The session is only recorded if you explicitly opt in, for example to rewatch it later.

FAQ

Common questions about the first chat.

Is the first chat really free?
Yes, 100% free. No payment data, no subscription, no hidden costs. We only need your name and email to send you the slot and the classroom link.
How long does the first chat take?
15 minutes is the default. If your time is tight we can wrap up in 10. If your topic is heavier we take 20 to 30, still at no charge.
What happens after the first chat?
If the fit is good, we propose a tutor and a topic plan. You book a session when you want. If you decide against us, also fine. You will not hear from us again unless you reach out.
Do I need prior knowledge?
None. Whether you are opening IntelliJ for the first time or already building Spring Boot projects, we meet you where you are. A short note about your level beforehand helps.
Does it work on a phone?
Technically yes, in practice it is awkward, especially for code. Recommendation: laptop or desktop with a mic. Screen sharing feels much calmer.
What if I have no code to show?
Also fine. Bring a task, a worksheet, an exam question, a screenshot: anything concrete we can look at together. In a pinch we just talk through your learning situation.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, any time. Cancelling up to 12 hours before is free (it is free anyway). Use the link in the confirmation email or write to contact@study-it.education.
I am under 18. Does that work?
Yes, with a parent's consent. There is a checkbox during booking. Your parents receive the confirmation email with all platform and data details.
Which Java topics can I bring?
Anything from Programming I (variables, loops, methods) through OOP, data structures, and the stream API up to Spring Boot. If you are unsure whether your topic fits, just ask during the call.
Will I be recorded?
Default: no. The session is only recorded if you explicitly opt in (for example to rewatch it later). There is a toggle in the booking flow.
