FOR COMPANIES

Training that lands in the actual project.

Study IT teaches programming in a 1:1 format. Your employees work with experienced developers on real tasks from their day-to-day work. You receive one collective invoice, your team books the sessions themselves.

  • ★ 5.0 on Google
  • Tutors with 5 to 11 years of industry practice
  • Invoice per § 14 UStG
  • GDPR-compliant, servers in Germany
  • No subscription, no minimum term
USE CASES

What teams book us for.

Four situations companies come to us with. If yours is not on the list, ask anyway: the first call settles honestly whether the format fits.

  • 01

    Apprentice support (FIAE / ITSE)

Your apprentices get 1:1 support alongside trade school and the company: final exam parts 1 and 2, project work, and the topics nobody has time for in the daily business. Our tutors went through the IHK exam themselves.

    Typical topics
    • IHK exam prep
    • Project work review
    • Java
    • SQL
  • 02

    Junior and working-student onboarding

New juniors and working students become productive faster when someone answers their questions without pulling a senior out of the sprint. The work happens on your team's stack and your team's tasks.

    Typical topics
    • Git workflow
    • Code reviews
    • Debugging
    • Testing
  • 03

Team upskilling to a new stack

Your team is moving to Python, C# or a new codebase. Instead of a group workshop with one pace for everyone, each person learns 1:1 on their own tasks, at their own pace.

    Typical topics
    • Python
    • C#
    • OOP
    • New codebase
  • 04

    Career-changer ramp-up

You hired someone with potential but without a computer-science background. We support the first months with fundamentals that follow the real tasks instead of the textbook.

    Typical topics
    • Programming fundamentals
    • Data structures
    • SQL
    • Clean code
WHY 1:1 INSTEAD OF A COURSE

Four reasons the format works for teams.

Course videos teach concepts. Your developers need answers to the code that is sitting in the repository right now.

01

Senior devs from practice

Our tutors build software for a living. They explain what matters in production code, not what the textbook says.

02

Real tasks instead of course videos

Your employees bring their own tickets, codebases, or learning goals. Every session works on what the project actually needs.

03

Flexible around the project

Sessions individually or as an hour package, evenings and weekends included. Free cancellation up to 12 h ahead.

04

Billing without overhead

One collective invoice per month or per package, with a cost center on request. No single receipts, no extra portal.

WHO TEACHES

No anonymous coaches. These people run the sessions.

All tutors develop software as their day job. You see who fits your topic before the first session.

WHO ANSWERS YOUR INQUIRY

Your inquiry lands with the founder, not in a ticket system.

I am Marcel Schmidtpeter, founder of Study IT and a senior full-stack developer myself. I answer company inquiries personally, usually within one working day.

In the first call we settle honestly whether 1:1 sessions are the right format for your team. If they are not, we tell you just as directly.

WHAT YOU GET PER SESSION

A session in the classroom. A summary as the result.

Sessions run in our own browser classroom. At the end of every session a written summary is produced: you see what was worked on without sitting in the session.

  • Classroom in the browser

No Zoom, no download, no third-party account. Your employees click a link, share their code and get going.

  • Session summary as the deliverable

After every session there is a written summary: topics covered, problems solved, next steps. That is your evidence the training actually happens.

  • No surveillance

The session itself stays between tutor and employee. The summary is shared with the employee's consent, and recordings only happen with the explicit consent of everyone involved.

OFFER & PRICING

Pilot, contingent, collective invoice. No more structure needed.

You start small and only extend if the format holds up. No licences, no subscription, no minimum term.

  1. 01

    Pilot session(s)

One or a few sessions for the people with the biggest need. You see right away whether the format works.

  2. 02

    Hour contingent per person

5-hour or 10-hour packages per employee, flexibly bookable with the matching tutor. Valid for 12 months.

  3. 03

    Monthly collective invoice

One invoice per § 14 UStG per month or per package, with a cost center or PO number on request. Payment by bank transfer.

from 59.99 € /h

Hour packages lower the hourly rate; volume terms for larger contingents are agreed individually.

Honest comparison: when which format fits.

Criterion 1:1 sessions (Study IT) Course licences (Udemy etc.) Group workshop
Works on your own code Yes, every session No, generic examples Rarely, mostly exercise projects
Pace Individual per person Self-paced, but alone One pace for everyone
Sticking with it A fixed appointment with a person who is waiting Depends on self-discipline One date, then it is over
Cost From 59.99 € per hour and person Low per licence High per date, split across the team
Strongest for Individual gaps with project context An overview of a new topic A shared kick-off as a team

If a video course is enough, we say so. Some topics are cheaper for your team with a course licence; we sort that out honestly in the first call, before you book anything.

Employee training is generally a business expense. Your tax advisor settles the details.

DATA PROTECTION & BILLING

The points your IT and your procurement will check.

Everything in one place, so approval does not stall on follow-up questions.

  • Servers in Germany

The classroom and the booking data run GDPR-compliant, with servers located in Germany.

  • DPA on request

We provide a data processing agreement (AVV) per Art. 28 GDPR on request.

  • No recording without consent

Sessions are not recorded unless everyone involved explicitly consents.

  • No third-party account required

The classroom runs in the browser. Your employees need no Zoom, Teams or Google account.

  • § 14 invoice with cost center

Invoices per § 14 UStG, with a cost center or PO number on request, collected per month or per package.

HOW TO START

Three steps to the first session.

  1. 01

    A short call

You describe the team, the topics, and the rough volume. We suggest matching tutors and a format.

  2. 02

    Start a pilot

Begin with individual sessions or an hour package. Your team books appointments directly in the calendar.

  3. 03

    Billing and scaling

You receive one collective invoice. If the format works, we extend the contingent; if not, it simply ends without a notice period.

FAQ

Common questions from companies.

Which topics do you cover?
Java, Python, C#, C and SQL, plus foundations like OOP, data structures and testing. Whether a topic fits is settled in the first call; if needed we extend the tutor team deliberately.
Is there a minimum contingent?
No. You can start with a single pilot session. Individual sessions are 59.99 € per hour, hour packages lower the hourly rate, and larger contingents are agreed individually.
How fast can we start?
Usually within a few days: a short call, a tutor proposal, the first session. There is no software rollout and no onboarding project; the classroom runs in the browser.
Can sessions be scheduled during working hours?
Yes, wherever the tutor's calendar shows open slots. Booking happens against real availability; many slots are in the late afternoon or evening. Free cancellation up to 12 h ahead.
Do you sign a DPA?
Yes, we provide a data processing agreement per Art. 28 GDPR on request. Servers are located in Germany; the details are covered by our privacy policy.
Do we need to involve the works council?
That is your organisation's call. The format is built works-council-friendly though: no recording without consent, no behaviour or performance monitoring, and the session summary is only shared with the employee's consent.
What if the tutor is not a fit?
Then you simply switch. Contingents are not tied to one tutor; you book the next session with someone else. And if we do not have the right profile, we tell you so honestly after the pilot session.
Are sessions available in English?
Sessions are currently held in German; English documentation and English code are everyday practice in them. If your team needs English-language sessions, ask and we will check within the tutor team.
How do we see progress as the employer?
Through the session summaries: topics covered, results, next steps, shared with the employee's consent. We do not look into the session itself, and we do not collect performance data.
